# Shopify POS
The **BSS B2B POS** app adds a **B2B Price** tile to Shopify POS. When you add a customer and products to the cart, it applies your **Price Lists**, **Custom Pricing** and **Volume Pricing** rules as line-item discounts, so you can create B2B orders in person. Nothing needs to be turned on in B2B Solution.

## 1. Add the tile to POS
In Shopify admin, go to **Sales channels › Point of Sale › Settings** and open the **POS apps** section. Select **BSS B2B POS** and click **Add**. A tile named **B2B Price** appears on the POS home screen.
## 2. Make sure your pricing rules are on
Turn on **Custom Pricing**, **Price Lists** or **Volume Pricing** and keep at least one rule enabled. The tile only loads enabled rules.
## 3. Create a B2B order on POS
**Step 1:** Add the customer and the products to the cart. Rules for specific customers or customer tags need the customer added first.
**Step 2:** When a rule matches, the discount is applied to each matching line, named with your **Checkout discount title** (**CUSTOM PRICING** if empty). Set the title in **Settings › Shopify checkout settings**.
The tile tells you what it can do: **Apply \[amount] as B2B discount** (tap to apply), **Remove discount** (tap to remove), **No discount found** or **Add at least one item to use**.

**Limitations on POS:**
* Rules whose customer condition is a **company location**, or whose product condition is a **collection**, apply on your online store only.
* **Market** conditions and exclusions by company location or collection are ignored, so such a rule can apply to customers or products it excludes online.
* POS applies B2B prices as discounts, so a rule that **raises** the price does not apply. Those items keep their normal price.

**Which rule wins?** Price Lists are checked first, Custom Pricing only when no price list applied, then Volume Pricing on top. Within each type the highest-priority rule is used. **Price override** in Settings does not change POS.
## 4. If the tile shows an error
If the tile cannot load your rules it shows **Couldn't check discounts. Tap to retry**. Tap the tile to reload. It does not retry on its own.
The tile loads your rules when Shopify POS opens it. After you edit rules, close and reopen Shopify POS.
## Stop using it
Remove the **BSS B2B POS** tile in the Point of Sale settings. It is managed there, not in B2B Solution.
