Create Quote in Admin
You can create quote in admin, on behalf of your customer. To do it, Go to Quote Submission > Create new Quote. You will be navigated to the quote details screen, but without any products or information.

Add New Quote
Note: You must add at least 1 product and 1 customer to save it as quote.

3.1. Add products
Use the search bar or Browse button to find and add products. A Product selection modal will pop up. Here you can:
Search Products: Search by name or SKU.
Add Filter: Filter products by tags or attributes.
Product Variants List:
Lists each available variant (e.g., Material / Size).
Checkboxes to select desired variants/products.
Price per variant is displayed.
After finishing, Click Select to confirm the choice. Now you will see the products on your quoted product list, you can edit the quantity and quoted prices of them.
3.2. Add Customer
Click the search bar to add the customer of the quote. Here you can add an existing customer, or create a new one (you must have their email address).
When you enter a new email here
Search existing customers or add a new email.
For company customers of Shopify Plus, you must choose the location you're quoting for, or it's personal quote.
3.3. Optional Information
Add Note: The note here will be blank. You can add additional information of the quote and it will be shown as plain text. The note will appear in the quote email when you send the proposal email to your customer.
Payment Panel:
Displays subtotal, shipping, tax estimate, and total. Totals are updated based on quoted prices, shipping and tax. Learn more here.
2.5. Other actions
Send Proposal Email: Sends a quote summary to the customer's email.
When clicked, a preview screen will appear with the customer’s email pre-filled so you can double-check the content.
This email template can be customized in the Quote Settings.
Convert to Draft Order:
Once the negotiation is complete and prices are finalized, you can convert the quote into a draft order and send the invoice to the customer.
