How hide products with the Hide Products & Collections module?

This feature is what you can use to ask your customers to login to see products.

We would recommend using Hide Products & Collection rule if you want to show/hide products and/or collections for specific customers to prevent confusion.

This feature is available at Premium plan.

In order to use this function, you have to enable it on Dashboard first.

1. INSTALL TO THEME

You need to install the function into your theme chosen in dropdown list to make sure that all settings work well.

Contact us at [e-mail] if you have already installed the function and set up the rules correctly but selected products or collections are still showing.

2. ENABLE THE RULE

In General Information, you can:

• Choose the name of the rule

• Select the priority of the rule (0 is the highest priority)

  • If there are 2 of the same rules with highest priority, the rule that was created earlier will be applied

• Status of the rule: Enable/Disable

3. SET RULE SETUP

You can hide products/collections on Product/collection Listing Pages such as Homepage, Collection, Search Pages, Others.

If customers directly enter the URL of the product/collection pages, there are three options for you to choose:

• Redirect them to the homepage

• Redirect them to a custom page

• Don't redirect them at all.

Customers who enter the URL of the hidden pages will be redirected to your homepage if you select Redirect to home page.

If you select Redirect to specific URL, please enter the link to the page that you want your customers to be redirected to when entering the URL of the hidden page.

Otherwise, if you don't want your customers to be redirected to a specific page, select Don't Redirect.

P/S: Sometimes you create the Custom Pages and the products are not hidden there. Contact us at [e-mail].

3.1. CHOOSE CUSTOMERS TO SEE/NOT TO SEE THE PRODUCTS/COLLECTIONS

• Restrict all visitors: No one can see the products/collections whether they are logged in or not

• Allow logged-in customers to see prices: Everyone who has an account can login to see products/collections

• Allow customer by tag(s): Customers with the tags can login and see products/collections

• Allow specific customers: Chosen customers can login and see products/collections

• Restrict customers by tag(s): Customers with the tags and non-logged-in customers cannot see the products/collections

• Restrict specific customers: Chosen customers (emails) cannot see the products/collections

• Restrict logged-in customers: Logged-in customers cannot see the products/collections

3.2. CHOOSE PRODUCTS/COLLECTIONS

If you want to hide the collection from view but still display the products within it, select No product restrictions and choose specific collection(s).

If you want to hide both the collection and the products within it, select Restrict products by collection and choose the specific collection(s).

3.3. ADVANCED SETTINGS

• You can set up a period to automatically enable or disable the rule.
