How to hide variants with Hide Variants from Customer module?

This feature is what you can use to hide specific variants from eligible customers.

In order to use this function, you have to enable it on Product Restriction first.

1. Install to theme

You need to install the function into your theme chosen in dropdown list to make sure that all settings work well.

Contact us at support-sbc@bsscommerce.com if you have already installed the function and set up the rules correctly but selected variants are still showing.

2. Setup the rule

2.1. General Information

In General Information, you can:

  • Choose the name of the rule

  • Status of the rule: Enable/Disable

  • Allow logged-in customers to see prices: Everyone who has an account can login to see products/collections

  • Allow customer by tag(s): Customers with the tags can login and see products/collections

  • Allow specific customers: Chosen customers can login and see products/collections

  • Restrict customers by tag(s): Customers with the tags and non-logged-in customers cannot see the products/collections

  • Restrict specific customers: Chosen customers (emails) cannot see the products/collections

  • Restrict logged-in customers: Logged-in customers cannot see the products/collections

3. Advanced settings (Optional)

  • You can set up a schedule to automatically disable the rule

  • Select the priority of the rule (0 is the highest priority)

    • If there are 2 of the same rules with the highest priority, the rule that was created earlier will be applied
