To create a passcode for a specific page, please upgrade to the Pro plan for this feature.
To enable this feature, you should go to Page restrictions on admin navigation
In this card, choose Lock configuration > Create rule.
The instruction is below:
Step 1. BASIC DETAILS
STEP 2: SET FORM STYLE
Fixed style: The passcode form will be fixed
Current theme's style: The passcode form will be adjusted according to the theme's style
STEP 3. SET UP PASSCODE
Enter the passcodes and choose whether you want the passcodes to be case-sensitive or not
Enter the message to inform visitors about the passcode requirement.
You can better segment or manage your users with Actions. When customers enter specific passcodes, their information will be automatically tagged or noted in your Shopify Admin console.
STEP 4. CHOOSE SPECIFIC PAGES AND CUSTOMERS TO LOCK
In the Pro plan, you can choose to lock specific product pages, collection pages, and any pages of your store.
Multiple selections are allowed.
You can use Excluded pages to specify which pages should be excluded from the rules
For example:
You have a blog and you want users to enter passcodes to see the blog page and all of its content, but if you want some specific blog posts unlocked, you can use Excluded pages.
To set it up, choose the option Exclude specific URLs. Then, enter the URLs of the pages you want to exclude from the rule and click on Add Page.
Note:
If you lock the main blog page and allow non-logged-in users to access specific subpages, you'll need to provide them with the URLs of those subpages so they can view the content.
STEP 5. CHOOSE RESTRICTED MARKET
Combined with step 4, specific customers from the chosen market will not see selected products, collections, and pages.
STEP 6. ADVANCED SETTINGS
Click on Show advanced configurations
You can choose products that won't be affected by the rule.
Additionally, you can configure Passcode Settings to set the number of passcodes users have to enter
You can set up a period to automatically enable or disable the rule.
On the restricted page, you can choose to:
Hide the Header and Footer if you do not want non-targeted customers to access links on the Header, Menu, and Footer.
Hide the navigation bar in case you do not want non-targeted customers to access your menu. This option is only available when you choose "No" at "Hide header and footer"
STEP 7. FRONTEND DISPLAY
