This feature enables you to encourage customers to subscribe to newsletters for marketing and maintaining customer relationships.
This rule is recommended if you want to collect email for marketing strategies and early access.
Before you start, remember to toggle on the feature to use it:
1. Set up the rule
The priority will be considered when there are duplicated rules. 0 is the highest priority.
2. Content for restricted customers
Under Content for restricted customers, you can change the content of the subscribe newsletter box and the thank you message as you want.
Choose Products/Collections to apply the rule
4. Choose Customers To See Pages
Restrict all customers: Every visitor has to enter the email to see pages.
Restrict logged-in customers: Every logged-in users have to subscribe to see content
Restrict non-logged-in customers: Only non-logged-in customers have to enter the email to see pages
Allow customer by tags: Only customers with specific tags have to enter the email to see pages.
Allow specific customers: Exclude specific customers who can see content without subscribing
5. Choose Specific Pages to Lock
Multiple selections are allowed.
You can use Excluded pages to specify which pages should be excluded from the rules.
For example:
You have a blog and you only want users to subscribe to see the blog page and all of its content, but there are some blog posts that you want to make available without subscribing, you can use Excluded pages.
To set it up, choose the option Exclude specific URLs. Then, enter the URLs of the pages you want to exclude from the rule and click on Add Page.
Note:
If you lock the main blog page and allow non-logged-in users to access specific subpages, you'll need to provide them with the URLs of those subpages so they can view the content.
6. Restricted markets
If you choose Specific markets, customers from that market will not see the Subscribe email form.
ADVANCED Settings
You have the option to choose products that won't be affected by the rule.
Also, you can set up a period to automatically enable or disable the rule.
8. Frontend display
When you click on the rule-applied page, the "subscribe newsletter box" will be shown in your online store.
