Klaviyo is a powerful email and SMS marketing platform that leverages automation to drive faster, more efficient growth. It transforms your customer data into highly personalized messages.
With this integration, you can easily manage referral campaigns and send notifications to your customers about their referral activities.
Here are some use cases for utilizing Klaviyo:
Send welcome emails for your referral program.
Filter and retrieve referral information of your customers.
Automate reward notifications and updates.
Here are the steps to utilize the integration:

Ensuring your API key has 'Full Access' or at least the following scopes
Events
Metrics
Profiles
From the BLOOP app, go to Integration > Klaviyo. Enable the feature and enter your API key in the Connect to Klaviyo section, then click Connect.
If the button says Connected, it means BLOOP has successfully connected to Klaviyo.
The integration performs two key functions:
Synchronize Referrer Profiles: Profiles of referrers (customers who refer their friends) are automatically synced with Klaviyo profiles.
Trigger Events:
When a customer joins the referral program and becomes a referrer.
When a referrer sends email invitations to their friends.
When a successful referral is completed (i.e., the referee, or referred person, checks out using the gift they received).
After connecting, BLOOP referrer profiles will be synchronized with your Klaviyo profiles.
Based on BLOOP properties, you can create Segments or Lists in Klaviyo. For example, you can create a 'BLOOP Referrers' segment like the example below.
In this use case, you can set up three types of emails using Klaviyo's Flow feature. If you're new to Flows, please refer to this article for guidance: Klaviyo Flow.
First, create a new flow. You will then see the following interface:
On the right side, click Your metrics and select API. Then, choose BLOOP - Join Program as the trigger.
Now that the trigger is created, the next step is to create your email. The integration allows you to add custom variables into the email content, such as the BLOOP Referral Link.
To utilize a custom variable, go to the email content editor, click Personalization, scroll down, and select the variable you want.
Here's what it looks like when you're finished:
Similar to the Welcome Customers to the Referral Program flow, create a new flow using the metric BLOOP - Referral Sharing as the trigger.
This will allow you to send a confirmation email to referrers when they share their referral links via email.
Similar to the Welcome Customers to the Referral Program flow, create a new flow using the metric BLOOP - Successful Referral as the trigger.
This will enable you to send congratulatory emails to referrers when they successfully refer a friend.
