Restrict All Products, Allow Only Exclusive Access by Customer Tag

B: B2B Lock Password Protect allows you to control access to products based on customer tags. With this setup, logged-out visitors won’t see any products, and logged-in customers will only see the pro

Goal

  • Before login: Customers cannot see any products.

  • After login: Customers only see the products assigned to their tag.

    • Example: A customer with tag “VIP” can only view products with tag “Premium”.

Step 1: Create a rule to hide all products

  1. Add a rule Hide all products.

  2. Set condition to No one has access.

  3. In the Exclude section:

    • Add product tags that should still be visible (these will be unlocked later by customer tag).

    • Add customer tags that will later be granted access.

👉 This ensures that by default, all products are hidden unless rules grant access.

Step 2: Create a rule to allow access by customer tag

  1. Add a new rule Hide products by tag.

  2. Choose the product tag you want to allow (e.g., Premium).

  3. Set the condition to match the correct customer tag (e.g., customers with tag VIP).

👉 This unlocks only “Premium” products for customers with the “VIP” tag.

Result

  • A customer without any tag → sees no products at all.

  • A customer with tag VIP → can only see products tagged Premium.

Example: If there are 3 products tagged “Premium”:

  • Guest or non-tagged customer = sees nothing.

  • VIP customer = sees those 3 Premium products.

Note

If you want another customer group to access a different set of products:

  • Add those product tags into the Exclude section of the first rule.

  • Create a separate rule (like Step 2) linking the product tags with the corresponding customer tag.
