Targeting

Control who sees your banner or popup, where, and on what device. This helps ensure the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.

1. Page Targeting

Decide which pages your banner or popup should appear on.

  • Show on all pages – The campaign will be displayed site-wide β€” on every page of your store. β‡’ Perfect for store-wide announcements that should reach all visitors.

  • Show on specific pages only – Choose from homepage, product pages, collection pages, cart, etc. β‡’ Best for: Highlighting promotions on the homepage, showing cart goal banners on the cart page (e.g. free shipping thresholds), or targeted messages on product or collection pages.

  • Exclude certain pages – Useful if you want to hide banners/popups on specific landing pages.

πŸ’‘ Tips:

  • Enter URL patterns using * to match groups of URLs. For example:

    • https://example.com/page* will match:

  • Combine with trigger settings (like scroll, exit intent) to create more contextual campaigns.

2. Device Targeting

Control whether the campaign shows on desktop, mobile, or both.

  • You can create separate campaigns for each device for better design control (e.g. different layout for small screens).

πŸ’‘ Tips:

3. Customer Targeting

This section lets you show or hide the banner/popup based on the Shopify customer status or tags:

Select customers to include

  • All customers – Show to all visitors (default)

  • Logged in customers – Only show to customers who are logged into their accounts.

  • Not logged-in customers – Show to guests or users without a Shopify account.

  • Specific customer(s) – Target particular customers by selecting them directly.

  • Specific customer tag(s) – Target all customers who have specific tags in Shopify (e.g., VIP, wholesale).

Exclude customers

  • None – Don’t exclude anyone (default).

  • Specific customer(s) – Select exact customers to hide the banner/popup from.

  • Customer tag(s) – Hide from all customers who have the selected tags.

βœ… Tip: Combine include/exclude settings to fine-tune your targeting.

4. Country and Store Language

This section controls visibility based on IP location and store language preference.

4.1 Visibility by Country

  • Enable this to display the banner/popup only to visitors from selected countries.

  • The system detects a visitor's location based on IP address.

4.2 Visibility by Store Language

  • Show banners/popups only when the store is being viewed in the selected languages (e.g., English, Vietnamese).

πŸ“Œ These settings are optional. You can enable one or both depending on your campaign’s target audience.

If you don't know how to add more languages to your site. You can refer to this guide:
