Quote Settings

This page allows you to set up email notifications and install the "Add to Quote" button if it's not appearing automatically.

At the top of the screen, you’ll see two tabs:

  • Notifications

  • Installations

1. Notifications

This section helps you configure email notifications for both store admins and customers.

1.1. Notifications for Store Admin

These emails notify store administrators when a new quote request is submitted.

  • Edit Template: Click this button to customize the email content.

  • Email Sender: The sender email is fixed as [email protected] and cannot be changed.

  • BCC: To receive these notifications, enter the email addresses (yours and others).

1.2. Notifications for Customers

These emails are sent to customers after they submit a quote request.

  • Quote Confirmation Email Template: Lets customers know their request has been received.

  • Quote Proposal Email Template: Used to send updates or proposals related to their quote.

  • Edit Template: Click to customize the content of each email.

  • Email Sender: This is the address that appears to customers. You can enter your own email here. If left blank, the default sender ([email protected]) will be used and may be flagged as spam.

  • Sender Name: Enter your store or company name. If left blank, your sender name will default to the email address.

1.3. Edit Email Template

Clicking Edit Template on any one of the three templates opens a pop-up window where you can fully customize your email content.

  • Left Panel: Includes two sections:

  1. Dynamic Variables: These are placeholders that pull real data from your store or customer submission (e.g. customer name, quote ID). Click a variable to copy it, then paste it into the email content.

  1. Content Editor: Where you write or modify the actual content of the email.

Each email template has its own content blocks that you can freely edit to fit your store’s branding and tone.

  • Use the Live Preview on the right to see how your email will appear to recipients.

2. Installations

This tab helps you manually install the "Add to Quote" button if it doesn’t appear automatically in your theme.
