How to set up Select quantity for options?

This provides a brief explanation of the functionality of the feature.

Please note that this feature can only be used for the following option types: Checkbox, Dropdown menu, Radio button, Swatch, and Button.

To illustrate, let's consider the Swatch option type.

Step 1: Please create an option set (follow this guide for more details)

Step 2: Choose option type Swatch and fill the General information:

Step 3: Tick on Checkbox ‘Select quantity’

When you select Create fee under Price add-on

In the Quantity settings section, you can set up the minimum quantity and the maximum quantity. If you do not set up these quantities, min quantity will be equal to 0 and max quantity will be unlimited.

When you select Assign to variant under Price add-on

In the Quantity settings section, you can set up the minimum quantity and the maximum quantity.

If you do not set up these quantities, the min quantity will be equal to 0 and the max quantity will be equal to the available quantity of that variant.

Please be advised that when a customer purchases a product with an assigned option value, the corresponding product variant will have its quantity reduced by one.

Step 4: Make sure your settings are correct and Save

Here are some examples of how it looks in your storefront:

When you select Create fee under Price add-on:

If you select more than 4, a message will popup to inform that Max quantity: 4

When you select Assign to variant under Price add-on:

If you select more than 4, a message will popup to inform that Max quantity: 4

Customers select 4 of quantity but there are only 0 available of the Create your own 500g mix fruit - 2-mixed in the warehouse. When customers process to a checkout page, a message will inform them of Quantity update.
