Import by Google Sheet

The Import by Google Sheets feature makes it easier and faster to import location data directly from your Google account.

How to Use

Step 1: Open the Import Feature

  • Go to the All Locations tab.

  • Select Import by Google Sheet.

Difference from CSV Import: No need to download or upload files – connect directly to your Google Sheets.


Step 2: Prepare Your Google Sheet

  • Ensure your sheet follows the correct format. Example:

  • To check the format, click View Sample File to see a pre-filled template.


Step 3: Connect to Google Sheets

  1. Click Select Google Sheet.

  2. A popup will appear:

    • Log in to your Google account (if needed).

    • Grant permission to access Google Sheets.

    • Choose the file to import. If the file has multiple sheets, select the one you want.

  3. Once selected, the data will be validated.


Step 4: Import Your Data

  1. If your file is valid, the Import button will be enabled.

    • If there are issues (e.g., wrong format or missing permissions), an error message will appear.

  2. Click Import to process your data:


Managing Imported Sheets

After importing, the Google Sheet will appear in the Data Source list.

You can click into the data to manage it using these options:

  1. Edit Google Sheet: Opens the sheet in a new tab for editing directly.

  2. Re-Import: Sync updates from Google Sheets.

  3. Delete: Removes the sheet and all locations imported from it.
