How to add tags/notes for customers using passcodes?

To add tags and notes for customers who use any passcode, you can enable this feature by following these steps:

Step 1: Enable

The "Actions" section will appear every time you create/edit a rule

Enable the feature by selecting "Add new action" in the "Actions" section.

Step 2: Setup

Choose the passcode for which you want to add a tag/note and select the type of action (tag or note) you want to apply to the customer.

Any passcode: Customers can enter any passcode you have added in the "Rule setup" section to access the locked page.

Then select "Add Customer tag/note" and enter the tag/note that you want to assign to the customer.

Note:

  • If you want to know which passcode the customer used, you can add the text "{passcode}" to the syntax to automatically add the customer's entered passcode to the note/tag.

  • For example, if the customer uses a passcode named "free". In the tag setup field, you enter the syntax "2023{passcode}", the customer will be tagged with "2023free" on the Shopify admin page.

You can add multiple tag/note actions by clicking "Add new action”

Step 3: Save

Once you're done, click "Save" to apply the changes.

Step 4: Display on the Shopify Admin page

Tags and notes will be automatically added when customers use the passcode.

Now, any time a customer uses a passcode, the note and tag will be automatically added to their profile, allowing you to better manage your customer interactions and provide personalized service.
