Countdown Timer for Label/Badge

This guide will help you understand how to use the countdown timer feature for labels or badges. Follow the instructions below to set up and customize your countdown timer.

1. Adding the Countdown Timer

To incorporate the countdown timer into your label or badge, simply add the {end} placeholder to the Content field. This placeholder will be replaced by the actual countdown value during operation.

2. Types of Countdown Timers

There are three types of countdown timers you can choose from:

  1. Countdown to a specific date/time

  2. Countdown that runs daily at a specific time

  3. Countdown that runs in certain intervals

2.1 Countdown to a Specific Date/Time

This type of countdown timer will count down to a specific date and time that you select.

  • Setup:

    • Select the desired end date and time in the "End Date" field.

    • The timer will count down until it reaches the specified end date and time.

2.2 Countdown that Runs Daily at a Specific Time

This timer resets and runs every day between specified start and end times.

  • Setup:

    • Select the start time in the "From Time" field.

    • Select the end time in the "To Time" field.

    • The timer will reset and start counting down at the "From Time" and stop at the "To Time" daily.

2.3 Countdown that Runs in Certain Intervals

This timer runs in cycles of active countdown and break periods.

  • Setup:

    • Select the start time in the "Start Time" field.

    • Specify the countdown duration in the "Countdown Length" field.

    • Specify the break duration in the "Break Length" field.

    • Example: If the timer starts at 09:30 PM, counts down for 40 hours (reaching 01:30 PM two days later), and then takes a 19-hour break, it will start over after the break period ends.

Visual Example:

  • Start Time: 09:30 PM

  • Countdown Length: 40 hours

  • Break Length: 19 hours

This pattern will repeat indefinitely as long as the timer is active.

By configuring these settings, you can create a countdown timer that operates on a custom schedule, ideal for scenarios where events or tasks repeat in regular intervals.

3. Timer Format

All three types of countdown timers have formats that are suitable for visibility in various contexts. Ensure you select the appropriate format for your use case to ensure the countdown is easily readable and fits well within your label or badge design.

By following these instructions, you can effectively set up a countdown timer that meets your needs and enhances the functionality of your labels or badges.
