Our Notifications feature is designed to enable sending confirmation emails among different modules, to both customers and you, as the store owner.

To use the Notifications feature, follow these steps below:

Step 1: In the navigation bar on your left hand side, click the 'Notifications' module to access the tab.

Step 2: The screen should appear as the image below. This section contains email templates divided into 4 tabs based on each module.

Looking to the table in each tab, aside from column 'Name', other columns can give you a quick view of the email template:

  • Send to: Show whom the email would be sent to. Under most circumstances, there are only 2 groups of receiver: Customers and you, as the Store Owner.

  • Status: Show the status of the email template (Enable and Disable). If the status is set to Disable, this email template would not be active, and no automatic emails from this template would be sent.

  • Action: Includes an icon allowing you to click to view and edit each email template.

Step 3: View and edit the email template.

Basically, most email templates are fairly identical. Therefore, below is an overall tutorial on how to edit a template:

After clicking the edit icon on the Action column, you will be redirected to the email template details. To view more and edit the template, you have to set the status to 'Enable'.

Next, the template details will appear. Let's separate the screen into 2 so-called sections:

  • Red range: Editor section

  • Green range: Preview section

Step 4: Configure the Editor section.

Apparently, this section is divided into 2 tabs equivalent to 2 edit methods: Default Editor and HTML Editor.

HTML Editor allows you to customize your email template using HTML code. When you want to discard all input changes and reset the template, just click the text 'Revert to default'.

On the other hand, let's move on to the non-tech friendly way using Default Editor. Below is the overall view of this section.

From top to bottom, here is how to configure this editor:

  • Status: Should be set to Enable. Only set to Disable if you wish the email would not be sent

  • Send from: Show the sender email

  • Send to: Input the receiver's email

  • BCC: Add BCC to your email, allow more recipients

  • Subject: Customize the email's subject

  • Show app header: Select to display our app header in the email. Unselect to hide our app header

  • Show store name: Select to display your store name in the email. Unselect to hide your store name

  • Title: Customize the email title, showing on top of the email

  • Description: Customize the email description under the email title

  • Content: This block allows you to configure the email's content. Besides default texts, you can format texts, add more messages, tables or pictures to your liking

  • Button content: Customize the text label of the email's button, such as 'View now'

  • Button color: Decide the button's color by manual selection or color code input.

Step 5: Preview the changes.

On the right hand side, the Preview section offers a live preview of the email template you're editing. You can check this section whenever a change was made to make sure the email template is customized based on your preference.

  • Email subject can be edited on the 'Subject' field on the left side

  • Click 'Extend view' for a clearer look

When extended, a preview pop-up should appear as below. Click X to close the tab.

Step 6: Saving your changes:

  • Once you are satisfied with the settings, click the Save button located at the top corner of the screen.

  • If you wish to discard any changes made during the session, use the Discard button beside the Save button.

Show app footer: Select to display app footer at the end of the email. Unselect to hide the app footer. For example, an app footer should contain texts like "Sent by on behalf of / "
