How to set up Request for Quote rule?

This article will provide a detailed step-by-step guide to set up the 'Request for Quote' rule in your storefront.

'Request For Quote' allows customers to submit an offer price for how much they will pay for a particular product or service. This feature simplifies the quotation process, enabling customers to get pricing information quickly and efficiently, which is especially useful for bulk or custom orders.

A Request for Quote (R4Q) Rule allows you to define specific conditions under which customer can request price quotes for products in your store. To set up the R4Q rule, simply follow these instructions below:

Step 1: In the page of Quoting & Ordering , navigate to the 'Request for Quote' module, then click 'Configure' to access the R4Q tab.

Step 2: Navigate to the 'Rule' tab. In this section you can adjust the conditions to make sure the R4Q rule only applies to specific customers and specific products.

Step 3: At this section you can also customize the R4Q Form based on your preference.

Step 4: Saving your changes:

  • Once you are satisfied with the settings, click the Save button located at the top corner of the screen.

  • If you wish to discard any changes made during the session, use the Discard button beside the Save button.
