How do customers request for quote on storefront?

This article will guide customers through a streamlined 3-step submission process to request a quote on your storefront.

Once you have completed setting up and installed the 'Add to Quote' feature on your theme, the 'Add to Quote' button should appear as shown in the image below on your storefront.
When customers click the 'Add to Quote' button, a modal will appear, confirming that the product has been added to their quote. At this stage, customers can choose between viewing their request or continuing to shop.
By selecting 'View Request', customers will be redirected to the 'Quote Cart' portal, where all products added to the quote are displayed. On this page, they will go through a 3-step submission process to request a quote, which would be explained below:
Step 1: Product Review
At this first step, customer will be able to review all the added products, which include product names and original prices (if the merchant allows to show). Also, if the 'Offer price' field is enabled, customers could also fill in their desired price, along with the expected purchase quantity.
Step 2: Contact Information
After confirming the requested products, customers will come to the next step where they could leave their contact information to the store owner.
Aside from 3 default fields which are Name, Email and Message, store owner could modify this form to inquire other information via Request for Quote settings.
Step 3: Request Confirmation
This is the last step, allowing customers to review their information given in 2 previous steps. Should there be any changes, customers could click the 'Pevious' button to go back and edit their request.
When everything looks good, customers click the 'SUBMIT REQUEST' button to complete their request for quote process.
After successfully submitting the request, customers then will be redirected to a Thank You page by default. If needed, our team could assist with customizing this page to suit your store's preference.
