How to create a Request For Quote form?

This article will provide a detailed step-by-step guide to set up the 'Request for Quote' form in your storefront.

'Request For Quote' allows customers to submit an offer price for how much they will pay for a particular product or service. This feature simplifies the quotation process, enabling customers to get pricing information quickly and efficiently, which is especially useful for bulk or custom orders.

Please follow these steps to set up the Request For Quote form:

Step 1: In the page of Quoting & Ordering , navigate to the 'Request for Quote' module, then click 'Configure' to access the Request for Quote tab.

Step 2: Navigate to the 'Rule' tab, then the 'Request for Quote' form. At this section you can customize the Request for Quote form based on your preference.

Step 3: You can customize the form by adding custom fields to it.

For example, you can add the field named 'Dropdown Selections' to inquire about the Reason for Quote in the form:

Step 4: Saving your changes:

  • Once you are satisfied with the settings, click the Save button located at the top corner of the screen.

  • If you wish to discard any changes made during the session, use the Discard button beside the Save button.

Step 5: After successfully saved, customers should see the Request for Quote form as it was set up previously:
