Step 1: Accessing the Settings
From the Configurations section of the Request for Quote module, navigate to the Hide price settings area.
These settings control how product prices and related buttons are displayed (or hidden) on your store.
Step 2: Hide Price Option
Hide Price:
When you check this box, the price of the product will be hidden from customers.
This is useful in B2B scenarios where pricing is variable or negotiated.
By enabling this feature, customers will no longer see the product price, encouraging them to use the "Add to Quote" button to inquire about pricing.
Step 3: Hide 'Add to Cart' Button Option
Hide 'Add to Cart' Button:
When this box is checked, the 'Add to Cart' button will be hidden alongside the price.
This option is particularly helpful if you want to disable direct purchases for certain products, forcing customers to submit a quote request instead.
Important: You should hide the 'Add to Cart' button when the price is hidden to avoid confusion for the customer.
Step 4: Hide 'Buy it Now' Button
Hide 'Buy it Now' Button:
When enabled, this option hides the 'Buy it Now' button.
This feature ensures that customers are directed toward submitting a quote rather than making a direct purchase, especially when price negotiation is necessary.
Step 5: Additional Options
Display fields for entering offer prices on the quote form:
This option allows you to include fields on the quote form where customers can enter their offer price. This can be helpful in facilitating negotiations directly through the form.
Redirect after Submitting:
If checked, this option will automatically redirect customers to a specific page after they submit their quote request. This is useful for guiding users to a thank-you page or additional product information.
Step 6. Saving Your Configuration
After setting your preferences for Hide Price, Hide 'Add to Cart' Button, and other options, click Save at the top-right corner to apply your changes.
