As a sales rep, you can create orders on the store front just like a regular customer, but on behalf of your customers.
Depending on how Mark orders with sales rep is setup, orders on behalf of your customers might or might not calculate your commission.
Yes: After checkout, orders created from sales reps will include commissions.
No: After checkout, orders created from sales reps will not include commissions.
If you choose Mark orders with sales rep to be "Yes" , orders created by sales rep on the store front will include commissions
Sales reps must finish the checkout process, as picture below:
Then, sales rep head to Customer Portal, in Manage Orders -> Orders, sales rep can see the orders they created themselves, and they can select the customer who asked for that order.
Click on the correct customer name and this window should pop-up.
You will notice the order you created on the store front is now tagged to the correct customer.
It should look like this:
On Shopify Admin console, you will see the tagged order on Orders tab.
If the customer ordered: Customer and Created by will be the same value
If sales rep ordered and changed the name to the customer: Customer will be the name of the customer and Created by will be the name of the sales rep
If sales rep ordered and haven't changed the name to the customer: Customer will be "Not Selected" and Created by will be the name of the sales rep
