💲 Display Prices With & Without Tax
With tax rules varying considerably across regions and customer types, clarity in pricing is crucial. The Tax Incl/Excl Display module gives you full control over how product prices appear—whether including tax, excluding tax, or both—so your storefront always communicates the right value to the right customer.

🛠 How to Configure Tax Display
Step 1: Enable & Access Configuration
Enable the Tax Display feature in your settings, then head to Configuration and click “Create New Rule” to begin customizing your tax display logic.
Step 2: General Info
Name your rule (e.g. “EU Tax Display”)
Assign a Priority (lower number = higher priority)
Toggle the rule Enabled / Disabled
If multiple rules overlap, the one with higher priority (or most recently created) takes effect.
Step 3: Apply to Customers
Choose which customers will see this particular tax display formatting:
Specific customers (via email)
Groups via tags (e.g. “VAT-registered”, “Wholesale”)
Step 4: Apply to Products
Select which products the rule should affect—whether your entire catalog or specific items/variants.
Step 5: Design Display Options
Decide how prices should appear:
With tax only
Without tax only
Both prices side by side You can also adjust the styling — font sizes, ratios, or colors for each price format — so that these elements match your store’s visual design.
Step 6: Install the Rule
Once your configuration is ready, go to the Installation section and apply the changes to your storefront. The system supports automatic installation, or you may use manual steps if needed.
👁 What Your Customers See
Once set up:
Product pages reflect the price display format based on the rule and customer qualification
Prices dynamically show tax-inclusive, tax-exclusive, or both formats
At checkout, the system calculates tax correctly behind the scenes, independent of how prices were displayed earlier
