View Recordings

To view a recording, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the "Session Replays" section of the app.

Step 2: Choose the recording you want to view from the list of recordings available.

You can search for the recording that you want to watch by visitor ID. Simply click on the Search button and input visitor ID.

Choose a recording that is available to watch. Recordings with the tooltip and buttons disabled are unavailable and cannot be played. Since the corresponding theme was removed, it will be lack of data. Please note that once you remove a theme, the corresponding recordings will also be unavailable to watch.

Step 3: Click the "Play/Replay" button to start the recording playback.

Step 4: Watch Recording

If you turn on the Auto play button, the next recording will be played after 3 seconds when the current recording is ended.

  1. Timeline

When you open a recording in MIDA, you will see a timeline on the right side of the video. This timeline shows the different events that occurred during the visitor's session.

To skip directly to a specific event in the recording, simply click on it in the timeline. The recording will automatically skip to the chosen event and start playing from that point, allowing you to focus on the most relevant parts of the session.

By using the timeline, you can easily navigate through the recording and identify key moments that can help you improve your website's user experience.

Choose the speed of 1x, 2x, 4x, or 8x to speed up the recording as you need.

  1. Information

Information includes User properties and Session properties.

User properties contain visitor ID, customer email, and last active of that visitor.

Session properties contain date/time that session created, location, device, operating system, browser, IP, cart value, source type, and source URL.

If you do not want to record that visitor anymore, simply click on the button Block recording of visitor, MIDA will not record that visitor in the future. You can unblock them whenever you want to.

You can add tags to this recording to segment or filter them later.
