You can create a customer/wholesaler account by importing their information. This is helpful when you need to create accounts for your wholesalers without doing it manually.
Step 1: Head to Import Customers
From Customer management, choose Registration forms > Registration management, hit the Import button
Step 2: Import file
First, please choose a registration form that you want to use
Second, it is optional for you to download the sample file to see which columns and their title should be included in the file
Third, add the file from your device. Customer file data should follow the instructions below:

The file type must be .csv or .xlsx
first_name is your customer's first name
last_name is your customer's last name
email should be unique and should not exist in the system. The email format is [email protected]
tag: tags given to this customer account
It should be less than 40 characters (according to Shopify's requirement)
You can add multiple tags, and separate them by a comma (",")
tax_exempt: fill in whether you want to charge tax on this account or not
