Set different prices for Wholesale customers

If you want to set different prices for your Wholesale customers, and not have to create another set of products, you can use Custom Pricing.

Set up the rule for your store

Step 1: Enable the feature and go to Configuration

  • Go to B2B Pricing on the navigation and enable Custom Pricing

  • After enabling, go to Configuration

  • Press Add rule to customize your rule

Step 2: General Information

  • Enter the Name of the rule

  • Enter the Priority (0 is the highest priority)

  • Choose to Enable or Disable the rule

If several rules are applied to the same products or customers, and have the same priorities, the latest created rule is applied.

Step 3: Apply to Customers

Choose who can see the altered pricing on your products

  • You can choose Specific customers by entering their emails

  • You can choose Customer tags to choose a group of eligible customers (e.g. "b2b" tag)

Step 4: Apply to Markets

Choose which market the altered prices are applied to:

  • On Specific markets, you can choose among markets that you've set in your Shopify Admin

Step 5: Apply to Products

Choose which products to apply the new prices to.

Step 6: Custom Prices

Choose the price-altering methods, there are 3 options:

  • Apply a price to selected products:

    • Products chosen in Step 5 will be applied to this one price

    • For example, if you set the Amount field to $10, products with prices being $50, $65 will have their prices altered to $10 only.

  • Decrease a fixed amount of the original prices of selected products:

    • For example, if you set the Amount field to $10, products with prices being $50, $65 will have their prices altered to $40, $55, respectively.

  • Decrease the original prices of selected products by a percentage (%):

    • For example, if you set the Amount field to 10%, products with prices being $50, $60 will have their prices altered to $45, $54, respectively.

Step 7: Exclude Customers/ Products (Optional)

  • You can choose certain customers to be excluded from your applied customer group from Step 3

  • You can choose certain products to be excluded from your applied product group from Step 5

Step 8: Set start/end date (optional)

You can also set a start/end date for the created rule

You can preview the altered price by clicking on Show product pricing details button:

Step 10: Install your configuration to your store

After setting up your configuration, head to Installation:

Choose one of these two options, and hit the Start installation button

How does it look from the storefront?

For demonstration, I will apply the rule to all logged-in customers and set custom prices to Decrease a fixed amount of the original prices of selected products.

Everything else is left as default.
